![]() Most of the runs I did were through Slumbering Sanctuary -> Clock Tower but I haven't found any secret there, though I didn't look for one so maybe there's a chance, though I wouldn't bet on it. First time through I didn't pick up the Cursed Chest in the Clock Tower and the shield is called Punishment so I thought maybe there's some chance it'd have it but after opening the chest it was just the usual colorless item, gold and power scroll. I've spent 30 mins on Clock Tower checking every corner/wall looking for breakable ground with Belier's Rune, looking for places I can climb and roll into, nothing though, I memorized the whole layout I had and truely have checked every wall. I did check the Fog Fjord timed door today (only had 1 scroll of Brutality for me and money then souls as usual) because I was looking for the Counter Shield, turns out I found the Counter Shield in a different secret area in the Fog Fjords though but no key. Would be kinda cheap/impossible though, having to do a frustrating speedrun like that just to get the blueprint (and then get murderized because of subpar items/stats against what might very well be the strongest types enemies in the game). I even went to the fjord and took the first key, skipped over the barrier via the secret area on top, and took the village key to the clocktower but nope. ![]() Though i already checked the breakable floor at the beginning of the clocktower and tried ringing every bell, but no luck there. Keys do seem to carry over from one level to the other, so either it's VERY well hidden in the clocktower or it's hidden in one of the previous levels, with the clocktower being about time and all, perhaps behind a timed door? I scrambled up and down and all across the map one last time, ringing them in the right order, and finally gots me that shiny new shield.Originally posted by CarThief:Well, i was thinking maybe its behind the timed door in the fjord, but i dont like doing speedruns so i never checked. Then came 'Bb3', then 'C3' and lastly 'Eb4'. To my amazement, after I rang the first bell a 'G4' popped up. So to catch the louder bell frequencies, I had to position my phone in front of my TV, and for the 2 lower bell frequencies, I had to position it behind my TV. When picked up it unlocks it permanently. Inside the room is a pedestal containing the Trident. Breaking it reveals the Forked Key which unlocks the lore room. It marks a spot on the map with an X symbol that leads to a breakable floor. My TV is wall mounted and my speakers are embedded directly into the underneath part of my TV. When all four are collected it combines into a mysterious map. I'm pretty sure your speaker placement has something to do with where you would position your phone to catch the frequency. If it's not paused you will see quick flashes of random readings, just wait for it to read, 'No tone detected' 0.00Hz. I downloaded the 'Physics Toolbox Suite' from Google Playstore, and immediately went to 'Tone Detector'. ![]() First, I turned music and ambient sound all the way down in the game options, then turned my TV volume up to 90. ![]() So, the 4 tones in order you have to ring them are: This was the hard part, which I hereby alleviate tone deaf and music illiterate readers of having to do by themselves. Then I had to figure out what those numbers and letters mean.
